The Hassan II Golf Trophy was established in 1971 on the initiative of His Late Majesty King Hassan II, a true enthusiast of this noble sport, giving golf in Morocco its current scope.
It has a symbolic dimension since it covers some of the most beautiful chapters in Moroccan golf history.

Organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Lalla Meryem Golf Cup is an integral part of the Ladies European Tour.
It is a fabulous setting to welcome the European women’s golf elite every year.
The 2024 edition will see the participation of 108 players with the will to succeed to the Swedish Maka Stark.

It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to you for the 48th edition of the Hassan II Trophy and the 27th edition of the Lalla Meryem Cup.
In the swiftly evolving global golf landscape, marked by the advent of LIV Golf and the historic collaboration between the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF), the PGA Tour, and the DP World Tour to unite the game of golf on an international scale, we steadfastly uphold a tradition. This tradition, conceived by my late father, His Majesty King Hassan II, was designed to uphold and enhance our nation’s standing as a pivotal destination on the economic, touristic, and golf fronts.

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the city of Rabat will host new editions of the Hassan II Trophy and the Lalla Meryem Cup from February 3 to 8, 2025.
Organized by the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation and the Hassan II Golf Trophy Association, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, these two major golf events are respectively key stages of the PGA Tour Champions and the Ladies European Tour.

Highlights
of the Hassan II Trophy
His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid took part on Tuesday 20th February 2024 in the PGA TOUR Champions Pro-Am.
Accompanied by his team composed of Mr. Karim Guessous, Mr. Omar Lahjomri and the german champion Alex Cejka on the red course of the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam.
