An exceptional women's course
The Lalla Meryem Cup is one of the flagship tournaments on the women’s professional circuit. Held on the Blue Course of the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, this competition offers a remarkable platform for world-renowned female golfers.
In 1993, His Late Majesty King Hassan II launched this event. Incorporated in the Ladies European Tour in 2010, the Lalla Meryem Cup has sealed its place in the history of women’s golf as well as in the hearts of champions such as Marie-Laure de Lorenzi, Lady Laura Davies with her 87 world victories, Gwladys Nocera, and Ariya Jutanugarn, winner of two major tournaments. Not to mention the illustrious participations of Norway’s Suzann Pettersen and Sweden’s Annika Sörenstam, the only player to have managed a score of 59 in a tournament, which is undoubtedly a testament to the prestige of this competition.
The peculiarity of Lalla Meryem Cup’s trophy, an elegant clutch bag neatly arranged in a case, adds charm and a touch of elegance to the competition. This award, unique in the world of women’s golf, further highlights the distinctiveness of this event.
