Pro-am Hassan II Kids Cup by First Tee

The Pro-am Hassan II Kids Cup by First Tee will be organized on Wednesday, February 21, on the Green Course of the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam. There will be 9 teams consisting of two children from the national First Tee program, who will be accompanied by a player from the PGA Tour Champions or a player from the Ladies European Tour ,to challenge themselves in a playful and instructive atmosphere.
The introduction of the First Tee program, at the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, President of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation (FRMG), was an opportunity to provide Morocco with a successful example of integration and education through golf and through a system complementary to existing golf schools.
First Tee, very popular in the United States, is a non-profit organization created in 1997, aiming to transmit skills and life values through the practice of Golf. In 2019, the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation signed a partnership with First Tee USA, allowing it to launch the «Chapter» Morocco under the label «First Tee Morocco.» This project allows young people to flourish and acquire foundations that can be useful in their personal school paths. This initiative has strengthened the educational and formative role of golf, helping young people develop a sense of responsibility and values towards others.
Since its adoption, Morocco continues to significantly develop the First Tee program. After 4 years in Morocco, more than 200 young individuals have been able to benefit from this program successfully in five cities across the country: Rabat, Marrakech, Agadir, Tangier, and Ifrane.
