The juniors take center stage!

The Hassan II Kids Cup Pro-am by First Tee will be held on Wednesday, May 20, on the Green Course at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam. Nine teams, each made up of two children from the national First Tee program, will be accompanied by a PGA Tour Champions player or a Ladies European Tour player to compete in a fun and educational atmosphere.

The introduction of the First Tee program, on the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, President of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation (RMGF), was an opportunity to provide Morocco with a successful example of integration and education through golf and through a system that complements existing golf schools.

First Tee, which is very popular in the United States, is a non-profit organization created in 1997 that aims to teach life skills and values through the practice of golf. In 2019, the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation signed a partnership agreement with First Tee USA, enabling it to launch the Morocco Chapter under the name “First Tee Morocco.” This project allows young people to flourish and acquire skills that will benefit them in their personal academic careers.

This initiative has therefore strengthened the educational and training role of golf, helping young people to develop their sense of responsibility and values towards others.

Since joining, Morocco has continued to significantly develop the First Tee program.

To date, more than 240 young people from 7 First Tee Morocco locations have successfully benefited from this program in the cities of Rabat, Marrakech, Agadir, Tangier, Saïdia, Casablanca, and Ifrane.

The Green Course – The natural setting of the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam
Nestled in the heart of the majestic forest of Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, the Green Course is a haven of serenity. Less well known than its prestigious neighbors – the Red Course and the Blue Course – it is nonetheless a real gem, appreciated by golf lovers for the subtle harmony it weaves between the game and nature.
Originally designed as a 9-hole course by legendary architect Robert Trent Jones Senior, the Green Course has long been distinguished by its intimate atmosphere and its role as a place for beginners.
An 18-hole extension launched in 2025 will transform its identity and enhance the estate’s aura, increasing the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam from 45 to 54 holes. This major development will consolidate the club’s position among the world’s exceptional golf destinations.
Shorter than the other courses, it is accessible to beginners while offering subtle technical challenges to experienced players.
Over the years, this course has become a favorite venue for beginners, training sessions, and friendly competitions. It also welcomes many young Moroccan golfers, who take their first steps here before venturing onto more demanding courses.

The Green Course thus plays a fundamental role in passing on a passion for golf and training new generations. More than just a course, the Green Course is the green soul of the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam: a place of discovery and sharing, where every shot resonates in the calm of unspoiled nature.
